Attaching Deck to Hull

 With the inside of the hull fiberglassed and the bulkheads also epoxied in place, the final placement of the deck on the hull took place. 

 I had trouble getting the deck to sit tight down on top of the bulkhead at the back of the cockpit. The stone blocks I had were not heavy enough. So in the third picture you can see the small block of wood I screwed to the bulkhead. Then I screwed down the deck to the block and could then epoxy the deck to the bulkhead. In some ways, that was easier than trying to weight down the deck.

The screws were then removed, filled with epoxy and hidden by the cockpit trim.
