Usually this is left to later in the build. With the deck epoxied to the hull, I was anticipating some focused work on the deck trying to get pigmented epoxy to setup properly on the outer deck panels. so I wanted the hull completed except for varnishing.
This part was pretty easy. Follow the manual. Get the electrician tape properly lined up. Put on thin coats of epoxy mixed with graphite. 3 coats went on smoothly. Once it was cured, the gaphite was masked off with newspaper to protect the graphite when varnishing the hull.
